Your Christmas adventure begins in Moshi, where you will meet your guide and travel to Marangu Gate. After registration, start your trek through the beautiful rainforest to Mandara Hut, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
On the second day, trek from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut, passing through moorland with stunning views of Mawenzi Peak. Take in the beautiful scenery and prepare for the altitude gain.
Spend this day acclimatizing to the altitude. Take a short hike to Mawenzi Hut and return to Horombo Hut. This is crucial for your body to adjust before the summit attempt.
Trek from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut. As you ascend, the landscape changes to alpine desert. Arrive at Kibo Hut, rest, and prepare for the summit attempt later that night.
Begin your summit attempt around midnight. The trek to Uhuru Peak is challenging but rewarding. Celebrate reaching the summit at sunrise, and then descend to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.
On your final day, descend back to Marangu Gate. Receive your summit certificates and celebrate your achievement with your trekking team. Enjoy a transfer back to Moshi filled with incredible memories of your Christmas adventure.
