Join our Tanzania small group tours for a more intimate and personalized safari experience. Explore top wildlife parks, breathtaking landscapes, and cultures.
Tanzania is renowned for its diverse wildlife, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. For travelers seeking a more intimate experience, small group tours offer the perfect opportunity to explore this incredible country with a personalized touch. These tours allow you to discover Tanzania’s most iconic destinations, including the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Zanzibar, while enjoying a relaxed, more flexible pace. Small group sizes ensure that you’ll receive more attention from your guide, have a more customized experience, and get the chance to make lifelong memories with like-minded travelers.
Your adventure begins with an arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be greeted by your guide. After a short transfer to your hotel in Arusha, you’ll have a welcome briefing to introduce you to the itinerary and the incredible wildlife you’ll be encountering. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to visit a local market or take a short walking tour of Arusha.
After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and beautiful landscapes filled with baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and, of course, the iconic elephants. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your exploration.
Today, you will set off early for the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife reserves. Known for its annual migration of wildebeest and zebras, the Serengeti offers world-class game viewing opportunities. You’ll spend the day exploring this vast savannah, witnessing predators on the hunt, and discovering the park’s incredible diversity of wildlife.
Your small group will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Garden of Eden.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, rhinos, and buffalo. Spend the day descending into the crater, enjoying game drives while surrounded by spectacular views. In the late afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge to relax.
After your safari, you’ll fly to Zanzibar for a change of pace. You’ll have time to relax on the pristine beaches, explore the UNESCO-listed Stone Town, or take a spice tour to learn about the island’s famous spice trade. The island’s rich culture and historical sites will add a unique dimension to your Tanzania experience.
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning in Zanzibar. You will have some free time for last-minute shopping or a beach stroll before your transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
